Yes — by law in the UK, all gas appliance installation, commissioning, servicing and disconnection must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. It is a criminal offence for anyone else to do this work. Every Instalify engineer carries their Gas Safe ID card, which you can check before work starts and verify online at the Gas Safe Register website.
Yes, in most areas across the UK we can offer same-day gas cooker installation. We have engineers available seven days a week and in many areas can have someone with you within 1–2 hours of booking. Use the booking widget on this page or call +44 7985 124755 to check availability in your area.
A straightforward like-for-like swap (replacing an existing cooker at the same connection point) typically takes 30–60 minutes. Range cooker installations or jobs involving pipework extension may take 1–3 hours. Your engineer will give you a time estimate before starting work.
Yes — disconnection and removal of your existing gas cooker is included in our installation service. We'll cap off the gas supply from the old appliance, safely remove it, and reconnect your new one. Disposal of the old appliance can also be arranged — please mention this when booking.
Yes — we install all makes and models including Beko, Hotpoint, Indesit, AEG, Zanussi, Smeg, Blomberg, Leisure, Rangemaster, AGA, Falcon, Lacanche, and all other brands. We work with both new appliances and existing ones.
We can extend or re-route your gas pipework to your desired cooker position. This is priced separately and depends on distance and access. Please mention this when booking so we can send the right engineer with the correct materials and give you an accurate quote.
